Made on a $200 budget, this short revolved around it’s fight choreography. The trained fighters needed to be able to move without restriction, and have non-slip footwear and gloves while staying true to the look of the universe. The diplomat was designed to disappear into the snowy environment after being ambushed by the Sith.

The Diplomat is being escorted across an ice planet. When she and her Jedi companion are attacked, she must hide in the environment. Inspired by Victorian skating outfits, and princess Leia’s Hoth costume, the Diplomat’s costume appears warm, and blends into the haze and falling snow of the ice planet.

The Jedi is on a mission to safely convey the Diplomat to her destination. He is vigilant against the danger posed by the journey and the Sith lying in wait. Inspired by canon examples of Jedi, this version wears cold weather gear and extra gripping gloves and boots for stunt work.

The Sith stalks and ambushes the Jedi and Diplomat. Inspired by Darth Maul, the red and black color scheme would be too visible against the white background, so I gave her a white cloak that kept her hidden until she was ready to reveal herself. Her gloves and boots were also anti-slip for stunt work.
